Eumundi Markets Trip

We went for a trip to the markets on Saturday. The weather was - great. Cool. With a little rain but not enough to need an umbrella. The bus left here at 6 am. Morning tea we had outside of the markets. Then we spent four hours trudging around. The muscles were complaining. So was the hip. We had lunch there before we continued on to Yandina to go to the nut factory. And the ginger factory. We all came home with some, so-o-o many goodies. The bus driver dropped us off around 6.30 pm. Here are a few photos. We stopped at Curra on the way home to fill the bus tank, and have a spell. The next few are scenery I took while the bust was taking us to Yandina. Hope you enjoy.

Monty's Birthday

The trip we took to have lunch at Kin Kin was for Monty's Birthday. We left home early. Had morning tea at a park in Maryborough. Then drove through the forest area along twisting, wining roads, through the mountain. Here are a few more photos. The camera I was given last Easter has been given a work out. I took about 1200 by the end of 2013. We had lunch at the Country Life Hotel which had been flooded. Now, fully restored. The meals were wonderful. Have to go. I've had these uploading while I did some other work. I watered my pot plants. Put the buns read to go out tomorrow. Now. I have to return the book to the art centre I had to read. The book was "The Day of the Triffids". I went on line to also watch the movie. Before that, we read "A Wrinkle in Time". I think it was a story for teens. There is also a movie to the story but I only watched the shorts.
