Christmas With Mitchell

These are some of the photos take on Christmas day. We opened some presents before we left Leanne's home to go to Mitchell's place.
We had ham and eggs cooked on the bar-be-cue for a late breakfast. Then came the opening of the presents. The floor beneath the tree was stacked with presents. Mitchell was elected to play Santa because it was his first Christmas in his house.

This lizard was caught at my house when it was very small. Now, he is years old. He lives in a fish tank in Leanne's lounge room. This was his Christmas feast.

Leanne's Christmas tree and a couple of her decorations. They are all made out of china.

A great day was had by all. Most over eat. But I just nibbled. We had breakfast, lunch, and the evening meal, at Mitchell's home. We had to help him eat so there weren't too many left overs because he was going to be away for a few days.

I was taken back to Mackay on Friday morning by family, to rejoin my friends on the bus to travel home. We made a few stops to eat along the way, have rest stops, but we made home, late. Lightning flashed. Rain began to fall while we unloaded our bags to go to our homes. I fell into bed. Exhausted.

Crumbin Sanctuary Pt 2

Missed a day. was busy typing up the script I had been working on. This morning, I have been out doing some weeding. And remodeling parts of the garden with plants that don't need much water. The sun became hot so I came inside before I became burnt. And so I wouldn't doing more damage to the areas of the body which has been aching. So I'm setting some more photos to upload while I type up more work. These are more I took at the sanctuary. The first three are paintings on the tunnel the little train passes through. And where the people walk to reach a different section of the park. This selection I took while I took the train ride around the park. The legs were aching so I opted for the ride. I had enough trouble lifting my right leg up a short distance to sit in the open carriage. You can stop at different sections to visit different attractions. This is ...

Trust Respect I didn't have

In a marriage there is suppose to be trust and respect, if not there, what do you have? For most of my first marriage I didn't receive either from my husband. The partnership consisted of three adults and the children. To come to that answer you have to have a wife, husband and his mother pulling strings, and sticking in her nose where it was not welcome. The main reason for her interference was to take my daughter to raise because she only had sons. But I fought tooth and nail until my life was in question. After my third pregnancy I was advised by my doctor, and a specialist, to do something to prevent any further pregnancies. The pill was not an option because my system will not take to induced foreign medication. A fitted application I refused because it didn't stop you having more children. I spent time with a woman in the maternity ward who had given birth to another child and the piece came out with the afterbirth. So I went for the permanent solution. I had the tubes ...

Spring

Where is spring? The weather feels more like winter. The sun is hiding and a chill is in the air. I'm thinking of going back to bed. The moment I begin to walk up the steps to reach my bed, the phone will ring. Or someone will come knocking on the door. Maybe I'll curl up on the lounge and read a book with a blanket over me. I don't want to find the heater and unpack it from the box. I just put it away. I had visitors yesterday. I hadn't seen them since 1991. Now my life has settles I will be able to go visit some family I have seen for years. Taking care of parents, family and friends, took up so much of my time. Followed by a lot of health problems. I have more time to do what I want for a change, since I have improved. I don't have severe pain like I had. Time for me to adventure out and see some of the country. The tree with the empty beer bottles were in the lounge room, where we had lunch on one of the bus trips. This was a day outing with friends. I ...
